In what building is a particular office located in?

The Administrator's office, Finance, Building Inspector, and Planning Department are located at One Main Street in Slatersville. The Town Clerk, Collection, Police Department, and Assessor's offices are located at 575 Smithfield Road in North Smithfield.

Do I need a permit for a yard sale?

Yes. This may be picked up at the Town Clerk's office.

Where can I get a copy of a town map?

You may obtain this at either the Town Clerk's office, the Building Inspector's office or the Planning Department.

What are your office hours?

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we are open from 8:00am to 4:00pm; Thursday we are open from 8:00am to 7:00pm and on Friday from 8:00am to 12:00 noon.

How can I get in touch with a plumbing or electrical inspector?

You may call the Building Inspector's office at 767-2200 extension 309.

When is our large item pickup?

As in the past, we do not have a yearly large item pickup. Please see Recycling

What do I do with my mattress and box spring?

You need to come to Town Hall to obtain a sticker at a cost of $10.00 per item. We will then notify the Highway Dept. and they will pick up.
