The Town Clerk's Office is located at 575 Smithfield Road in the Municipal Office Building shared with the Police Department.
The Town Clerk's department is responsible for seven major categories: Board of Canvassers, Boards, Commissions and Committees, Land Evidence Records, Licenses and Permits, Probate Court, Town Council Meetings, Agendas and Minutes and Vital Records which consist of Birth, Death Certificates and Marriage Licenses.
This office is responsible for the maintenance, indexing and storage of all of these records as required by State Law.
