From Tax Assessor & Collector
Beginning on May 27 through September 2015, Property Data Collectors, Todd Wheeler and Bob D’Arezzo will be inspecting residential and commercial property that have sold in the past year and properties with active building permits.
Residential inspections will start in the NW corner of town, map 1 and move in a SE direction to map 21.
Their licenses and vehicles are registered with the Police Department and Assessor’s office. Residents are asked to cooperate in helping us to estimate a fair value for their home and others in North Smithfield. Residents may contact the Tax Assessor with any questions or concerns.

RETURNED CHECK FEE
Beginning January 1, 2014 Bank of America will be charging the Town of North Smithfield a $45.00 fee for checks issued to the town that are returned for insufficient funds . The Town of North Smithfield will begin to charge check writer the $45.00 amount for any bounced checks that are received.
