For many years, the North Smithfield Police Department has provided the community with a successful D.A.R.E. program for all 5th graders in the Town.
- Juvenile Hearing Board:
Headed by Lieutenant Gregory Landry, the Juvenile Hearing Board is a way to help youth in our town by allowing them to be reviewed by a community board that imposes.
- Senior Advocate:
Lieutenant Ellen Lamoreaux is available to assist seniors with specific problems in their neighborhood. She can be reached at (401) 762-1212, ext. 223.
- Scam Alerts:
Done as a public service to keep the community aware of scams that are being perpetrated on those who may not have all the answers. We will post all pertinent information on our Posted on Neighborhood Watch for your protection.
- Youth Services:
Headed by Lieutenant Gregory Landry, North Smithfield has been serving the needs of our youth for over 20 years. They care about what happens in our neighborhoods.
